Cay 9 Resort & Spa is Cayman’s first facility offering luxurious total pet care for your four-legged family member 24/7.

Owners can choose from a variety of spacious accommodations from standard resort room to presidential suite, to make their dogs feel right at home.

Regardless of preference, each has been designed to delight guests with the gentle elegance that can only be found at Cay 9 Resorts & Spa.

Our certified staff members are true animal lovers, and will care for your dog like their own! The end result is maximum care and comfort for your pet in a luxurious ambiance.

All dogs participating in this program must first pass a strict temperament screening process to ensure compatibility with the group. Dogs that haven't participated in daycare of boarding for more than 5 months have to pass a re-assessment.

Boarding rates are from 4pm to 12pm the day after. For earlier check ins or later check outs during opening hours ½ day daycare charges will apply

All dogs participating in daycare or boarding must be able to swim and climb stairs on their own

Bathing Policy Boarding

Your treasured companion will feel even more special after being bathed with luxurious dog shampoo. To ensure each dog goes home clean and fresh after boarding, a bronze spa is required for staying 2 days or more and a silver spa for staying more than 2 weeks (no exceptions).

Reservations and Cancellation Policy

Cancellations within 48 hours are subject to a fee of 1 day of boarding
Cancellations within 24 hours are subject to a fee of 2 days of boarding

Overnight Stay Canine Guest Checklist

We require that all dogs must pass the initial free assessment test, must be at least 4 months old, spayed or neutered, and up to date (not older than a year) with all the following shots:
1. Distemper, 2. Hepatitis (CAV), 3. Leptospirosis, 4. Parainfluenza, 5. Parvovirus, 6 .Bordetella (oral vaccination available at any vet on island)
Please provide Cay 9 Resort & Spa with a copy of your vaccination record from your veterinarian.
Medications/Supplements must be in the originally prescribed container. Please do not put them in pre-measured food bags.
We strongly advise that you bring your pet’s food. Any dietary change can cause gastrointestinal upset. In the event that you check in without food,the extra charge of $5 will be levied per day for the food of boarding dogs.
All brought-in meals should be pre-measured, in separate bags, to ensure that your pet has enough for their entire stay.

For the safety of all our canine overnight guests we cannot accept personal toys, food bowls (unless prescribed for behavioral reasons by a veterinarian), rawhide, bully sticks, personal bedding or blankets.

We provide comfortable and sanitary Kuranda@ dog beds for all our pet guests.

Despite we always try our best to return all of your belongings upon check-out, we advise you please leave keepsakes and irreplaceable belongings at home.
